Meet Our Mental Health Professionals

Sydney J Venuti, LICSW

Sydney obtained her Masters in Social Work from Salem State University. Since entering the field of clinical social work, Sydney has been passionate about helping people from all walks of life navigate their mental health challenges. She currently specializes in EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and is also trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). This is not to say she doesn't have many therapeutic tools in her tool belt! Sydney works hard to create a safe and accepting space for her clients, knowing that good rapport is one of the biggest components of successful mental health counseling. Sydney enjoys working with preteens through older adults and specializes in supporting Veterans, Active Duty Service Members, and First Responders. She addresses diagnoses such as Trauma/PTSD, Anxiety, and Depression. 


She is an independently licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) in MA, NH, RI, and a telehealth LICSW Provider in FL. In conjunction with the commercial insurances accepted by the practice, Sydney also accepts VA Community Care Consults and Martin's Point Insurance.

As an Independently Licensed Social Worker, she diligently maintains her 40 CEUs per 24 months, as mandated by licensing boards, to enhance her skills in mental health counseling.

Jennifer Hewitt, LCMHC

Jen has been passionate about helping clients with their life challenges since beginning her career in mental health counseling. She is a fully licensed clinical mental health counselor (LCMHC) specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), among other therapeutic modalities. Jen also incorporates EMDR therapy into her practice to assist clients in reducing anxiety, stress, depression, and trauma-related symptoms. She works hard to create a safe and compassionate environment for clients to achieve their personal therapeutic goals. Currently located in the Tilton, NH office, Jen offers both in-person and virtual sessions for ease of access for all clients.

Jen is the Chief Clinical Coordinator (CCC) of the agency, where she works diligently to ensure safe and ethical clinical care for all clients, particularly in the realm of clinical social work. Lauri Johnson, LICSW

Lauri is a collaborative team member of Mending Mind Wellness and practices in Concord, NH. With over 20 years of experience in clinical social work, she is dedicated to assisting clients at Mending Mind Wellness while also running her own practice and education center, Restored Peace Wellness & Education Center, LLC. Lauri takes pride in her clinical and educational training work, actively advocating for clients and mentoring clinicians in the field. Specializing in mental health counseling, Lauri focuses on chronic stress/illness, grief, loss, life transitions, relationship challenges, and trauma. Her expertise includes EMDR therapy, along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based Interventions (MBCT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Narrative Therapy, all while employing a compassion and strengths-based approach. One of Lauri's primary areas of focus is the mind-body connection, and she works with individuals, couples, teens, adults, and older adults. Robin Raycraft, LCMHC

Robin is the Manchester Site Manager and is an exceptionally talented clinician in the field of clinical social work! With over 20 years of experience in mental health counseling, she specializes in the foster/adoption system, anxiety, anger management, depression, life transitions, and trauma. One of her key areas of expertise is EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Additionally, she employs techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), focusing on compassion and strengths in her approach to clients. Robin is committed to helping you start with your own identified goals; if you're feeling too overwhelmed to determine where to begin, she will work alongside you to find the right starting point. She works with individuals of all ages, including children as young as 5, teens, adults, and older adults.

Robin is the Manchester Site Manager and sees clients in both Manchester and Concord, NH for ease of access to mental health counseling services. She provides clinical support and professional guidance to staff, ensuring the best care for all clients at MMW. Robin prides herself on staying up to date with new trainings and techniques, including EMDR therapy, to ensure her clients are always receiving the most relevant and helpful care. She is required by the state licensing boards to obtain a minimum of 40 CEUs in clinical social work every 24 months.

Lori Champion, Office Manager

Lori is our in-house office manager with over 17 years of experience in client relations within the mental health counseling field. She specializes in helping new clients navigate the onboarding process and choose the right clinicians for their needs, including those offering EMDR therapy and clinical social work. Ilya N. Layton, CMHC

Ilya Layton holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience from Gordon College. With experience in outpatient, adolescent, and hospital-based mental health counseling, Ilya is committed to fostering a safe and supportive therapeutic environment. He specializes in clinical social work with adolescents and adults, including individuals managing chronic disabilities, through a trauma-informed lens. His practice focuses on addressing concerns such as PTSD, anxiety, life transitions, and the emotional and psychological challenges associated with long-term health conditions. Utilizing evidence-based approaches, including EMDR therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Person-Centered techniques, Ilya tailors treatment to each client’s unique needs, empowering them on their journey toward healing and personal growth. Catlyn Kraus, CMHC

Catlyn is a pre-licensed clinician with a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling and a certification in play therapy from Plymouth State University. With a background in clinical social work, Catlyn has experience working with a diverse range of ages, backgrounds, and needs. Her expertise in play therapy enables her to work with clients as young as 3 years old, including school-aged children, teens, adults, families, and couples. Catlyn has assisted both youth and adults dealing with issues such as trauma, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, specific phobias, and parenting challenges. Utilizing the Adlerian and Adlerian play therapy models, she focuses on building self-esteem through connection, capability, counting, and courage. Some techniques you may encounter when working with Catlyn include sand tray, art, sensory, talk, and psychodrama. Alexandria Weiser, MSW

Allie earned her Masters degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida and is a pre-licensed social worker in the state of NH. If you identify as LGBTQ+, struggle with disordered eating, or are a couple looking to realign, Allie would love to walk with you on your healing journey through clinical social work! She values an open and honest relationship where clients feel comfortable and supported without judgement. Allie is here to support you while also helping hold you accountable to the work you are doing for yourself. With nearly 2 years of crisis management experience answering the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline and other crisis phone lines, she is prepared and comfortable discussing a variety of difficult topics. Allie has also completed training in EMDR therapy and Gottman couples therapy, and holds a Graduate Certificate in Therapeutic Modalities. She has worked as a program assistant at a community mental health center for adults with severe persistent mental illness and co-occurring disorders. Ellie is a therapist trained in clinical social work who provides mental health counseling for clients aged 10 and older. Kenna Sloan, CMHC

Kenna has a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. With a background in communications and expressive writing, she believes that storytelling is central to the therapy process and that clients and their experiences need to be safe, seen, and heard. In her practice, Kenna invites clients to explore their stories—about who we are, where we’ve been, and what we’ve endured—through a lens of curiosity and non-judgment. She brings a warm, steady presence rooted in the understanding that healing occurs in relationships, especially those built on honesty and trust. Kenna utilizes person-centered, psychodynamic, and strengths-based approaches, along with EMDR therapy, to support clients’ goals and honor their pace, always returning to clients’ values, autonomy, and lived experience as guiding points in the therapeutic process. With a special interest in clinical social work, she enjoys working with clients in their late teens through adulthood, helping them navigate challenges such as depression, periods of transition, identity exploration, stress and burnout, OCD, and BFRBs (body-focused repetitive behaviors). Margaret Soles, CMHC

Margaret views therapy as a whole-person journey—one that honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit. She holds a Master’s in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University and a Bachelor’s in Human Ecology from the College of the Atlantic. In addition to her clinical training in clinical social work, she is a certified Hatha, Vinyasa Sadhana, and Kundalini yoga teacher and has trained as both a Birth Doula and Midwifery Assistant. These experiences bring a holistic, body-centered perspective to her work and reflect her belief that healing unfolds through both insight and embodied presence. She has extensive experience supporting adults with co-occurring mental health challenges across residential, PHP, IOP, outpatient, and community settings. Margaret draws from various approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and EMDR therapy, as well as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Motivational Interviewing, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy, weaving mindfulness, somatic awareness, and compassionate curiosity throughout her mental health counseling practice. 


Margaret specializes in helping individuals with anxiety, stress management, self-esteem, identity, life transitions, grief and loss, women’s issues, spirituality, and substance use. With warmth and grounded presence, she creates a safe, supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore challenges, embrace personal growth, and strengthen resilience and self-compassion. Elizabeth Stowers, CMHC

Elizabeth (she/her) is a sex and relationship therapist specializing in kink, BDSM, ENM, LGBTQ+ identities, and sexual trauma recovery. Her practice is grounded in trauma-sensitive, client-centered care that integrates IFS parts work and movement to support healing through both mind and body. As a professional engaged in clinical social work, Elizabeth works with individuals and couples—romantic, platonic, play, D/s, or any other meaningful connection—helping clients rebuild trust, communication, intimacy, and joy within themselves and their relationships. Many of the people Elizabeth supports are unpacking religious or cultural shame around sex, pleasure, and identity. She offers a compassionate, judgment-free space where clients can explore these experiences with curiosity and self-acceptance. A TCTSY-certified yoga therapist, she incorporates somatic awareness and gentle movement to help clients reconnect with their bodies and sense of agency, enhancing their mental health counseling journey. Passionate about helping others reclaim what has been lost or silenced, Elizabeth often says, 'If you feel like your body was taken away, I want to help give it back.' Her work is deeply affirming, collaborative, and rooted in respect for each person’s unique story and capacity for growth. Elizabeth can also utilize EMDR therapy techniques when appropriate. Lexys Bladecki, CMHC Intern

Lexys is an intern clinical mental health counselor from New England College, with a focus on clinical social work. She has experience working at a community mental health center for adults facing mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders. Lexys specializes in mental health counseling for adults dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship challenges, and she is open to addressing any mental health concerns. 


Dedicated to her mission, Lexys helps clients develop the necessary skills and tools to overcome and navigate life's challenges, often incorporating EMDR therapy into her approach. 


Known for her empathetic, communicative, and genuine demeanor, Lexys strives to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences to achieve their personal therapeutic goals. 


Currently based in the Gilford, NH office, Lexys offers both in-person and virtual sessions.

With the combination of her college curriculum and this direct supervision, Lexys is equipped to provide valuable, safe, ethical, and efficient mental health counseling to all clients who are open to working with her. Additionally, she incorporates EMDR therapy techniques to enhance her therapeutic care. The ultimate goal is that Lexys will transition to a Full Time Clinician with MMW at the end of her internship.

Morgan Lundberg, CMHC

Morgan is passionate about supporting others through life’s challenges and transitions. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has a strong interest in helping individuals and couples navigate anxiety, panic disorder, grief, relationship issues, and personal growth. Morgan takes a warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental approach to therapy, creating a safe space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. With her background in clinical social work, Morgan believes in the power of collaboration and connection in the therapeutic process. She values building trust and tailoring treatment to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.


Focusing on helping clients reduce symptoms of anxiety and stress, Morgan works to foster greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and meaningful change. She provides therapy to adult individuals and couples, utilizing a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies. Additionally, Morgan is trained in EMDR therapy, which can be particularly effective for trauma and anxiety. She uses a strength-based and client-centered approach, helping clients build confidence, improve communication, and deepen their relationships. Educational Trainings

Morgan is currently working on her independent licensure in clinical social work and engages in weekly 1:1 clinical supervision per NH licensing board standards. She is always looking to add more knowledge and skills to her clinical work, including EMDR therapy techniques, and actively participates in obtaining CEUs for her mental health counseling practice, even though she is not required to yet!

Jocelyn Houle, CMHC

Jocelyn Houle received her Master's in clinical mental health counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. She brings a compassionate, down-to-earth presence to her work and values authenticity and connection in the therapeutic relationship. Her background includes experience in community mental health settings, where she has supported individuals from all walks of life, including navigating clients' anxiety, depression, trauma symptoms, and major life transitions. Jocelyn believes therapy is not a one size fits all; she draws from a variety of approaches, including EMDR therapy, and meets clients where they are in their therapeutic journey. She utilizes methods such as talk therapy, art-based techniques, worksheets, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, cognitive reframing, and mindfulness-based tools. Her style is collaborative and fluid, grounded in the understanding that each person’s needs are unique and continuously evolving. Specializing in working with adults and couples, she has a particular interest in exploring relationship dynamics and how early life experiences shape current beliefs and patterns. Jocelyn brings curiosity about everyone’s cultural upbringing to enhance her understanding of how to best serve her clients, alongside a strong commitment to unconditional positive regard. Educational Trainings

Jocelyn is currently a pre-licensed clinical mental health clinician in the state of NH, where she focuses on clinical social work. She receives weekly 1:1 clinical supervision to advance her education and training in mental health counseling, per licensure board regulations. Additionally, she actively participates in CEU trainings, including those related to EMDR therapy, even though this is not required of her just yet!
